Our service and projects

A specific early childhood component to ADV began in 1998. We recognized that early childhood development is an important component in our disability intervention program. This is because delayed children development can be helped better at this crucial stage. By creating, an environment where disabled and non-disabled children can play, learn, and grow together , thought that right attitude could be inculcated in the minds of the children. In addition to this, it designed to demonstrate to the community members what could be possible done in the education of children with special needs. The healthier the children are today the healthier the future of society.

The early childhood development program

The project focus is: improve the attitude of the community to RMNH needs of women and youth empowering girls and women to make RMNH choices and access services and In enhancing the accountability and responsiveness of service providers to the target communities and women Besides the programs works on building the institutional and technical capacity of reproductive health clubs to engage the youth in reproductive and HIV/AIDS preventive education and treatment activities. By mobilizing and strengthening the clubs (both in and out of schools) they will in turn reach local youths as well as the wider community with RH information through different entertainment education methods, while at the same time supporting the clubs to initiate youth friendly, affordable and confidential RH services.

Reproductive Health Programs

Addis Development Vision (ADV) has been implementing “protection of basic service” project in eleven Woredas located in three zones (Silte, Hadiya, and Guragie). ADV with three implementing partners (Dalocha Women and Development Association, Participatory Poverty Reduction Organization (PPRO), and Guragie Development and Culture Association (GDCA), The project strives to strengthen and deepen quality, effectiveness, efficiency, access etc. to basic services. The General Objective of the Project is to contribute to the country' development effort, to improve the quality of service delivery by improving the engagement of communities at grass root level and builds the capacity of the service providers.
